Mommy & Me

8 6x6 Mommy & Me pages and that's not everything!

For this I used Bo Bunny's Mama-razie paper line (6x6 & 12x12), the stickers that go the trhat line and 3 Bo Bunny Double Dot papers.

My mom is normally hiding behind the camera, so I wanted to scrapbook some of the times that she has been in front of the camera (and with me).

These pictures are from:
~ swimming at the Edge
~ playing in the snow in the backyard
~ simply the 2 of us
~ pajama days
~ getting perms ("I want to be like mom")
~ scrapbooking crop
~ Disneyland
~ Santiago zoo
~ pizza picnic at a park in Duluth
~ Ouimet Canyon
~ the Hollywood sign
~ Sea World

Over a Year of Good Times

9 4x4 pages that show over a year of good times.
What each page is/means:
1) June 17, 2014 - Aiden and I biked to the Marina
2) Our nicknames for each other
3) September 27, 2014 - Our first time going biking together
4) "Thank you" is a part of our goodbye everyday
5) July 3, 2015 - Spontaneous date at the Marina
6) Instead of having a never ending "I love you more" battle that no one wins, we say "I just love you"
7) February 19, 2015 - Semi formal
 8) "Our song" (we don't really have A song - but this one has a lot of meaning to us)
9) June 9, 2015 - Hammarskjold's convocation where we were in our Band Shirt ready and waiting for the time that we (the Jazz Band) would play

Kingfisher

After 4 years of saying "I want to scrapbook my kingfisher trip" - I finally did!

In grade 7 my class spent 3 days and 2 night at kingfisher and this chipboard album displays the highlights.
1) My cabin's first fire and the first meal we cooked (and burned) over that fire.
2) My friend's mom "helping" us shovel snow.
3) The attempts at taking a photo of the people in our cabin.
4) Amber playing in the snow
5) The goofballs... P.S. In the first picture, Hannah has a pencil in her hat (pretending to be a unicorn).
6) The actives we did: snowshoeing and skiing
7) Eating s'mores by the big campfire
8) Everyone in my cabin
9) The grade 7 French Immersion Students of Ecole Gron Morgan, 2010-2011

First Day of School

2 years ago I went looking for all my first day of school pictures for a presentation I had to do in grade 9. Well, I found myself in the mood to scrapbook but I didn't know what to scrapbook... then I remembered the file on the computer that had these pictures.

I got to play around with some of the CTMH papers and embellishments while creating my second 12x12 page in quite a while. Every first day of school my mom has taken pictures of me, but this pose is the one that we make sure to always get. With this page, I present to you, myself in grade 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 & 8.

Marina Adventures

On Aiden's Birthday a handful of our friends went to Boston Pizza for dinner. Afterwards, we decided to go to the Marina. Me, being my mother's child, took about 120 pictures. Out of them all, this one is my favourite. You might ask "Is this posed? or was it just meant to be?" Well, it was a bit of both... Aiden was standing there and Parker was standing kind of beside and behind him. My mind thought "this would be a perfect picture if Parker was standing beside Aiden", so I asked Parker to move beside Aiden and I took the picture. These are the guys that know me best: my boyfriend and my best friend. Now I have a captured memory of the two of them in one beautiful picture. Of coarse, it wasn't enough to simply put the picture in a frame...

With help from my mom, I put together this 12x12 page of two of the most amazing guys I've ever met. I wanted paper that would go with the colours in the picture and of coarse my mom's collection of paper had the perfect paper line do to just that. I didn't want anything to distract from the picture, so I made the titles add to the picture and relate back to the picture, bringing the focus back to it. "Marina" tells you were the picture was taken and "Sleeping Giant" reminds you of what the boys are looking at. Over all, I love how it all came together and I must thank my mom for helping me do that. :)
