Valentine's Day Treats for My Friends

For each of my Valentine's Day cards I used scrap paper, a Close to My Heart alphabet stamp set, a Happy Valentine's Day stamp, a corner punch, and one of the Heart cut outs from the Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge.

For my friends I personalized them. The first one was for my friend Shyla who is a figure skater so I put a skate from the Joy of the Season Cricut cartridge on it.

The next one was for my friend Ashley who LOVES cows so I just had to put a cow from the Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge on it.

The last personalized one was for my boyfriend Donald so I put the C.C. Design's Key from their Key and Lock stamp set coloured with two Copic Markers that matched the paper, and a Close to my Heart saying "I followed my heart...and it led me to you."

Trevor Ornament Christmas Card

This was for Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge that I missed but it just so happened that the colours would be good to put in a different card challenge that is going on this week

I am submitting this card in Paper Sundae's Challenge #57 - Masculine Colours.

This is funny. The image stamp I used is called Trevor; which is my dad's name. One of the colours used on my card is close to my dad's favourite colour; which is 57 Chevy blue. This is Paper Sundae's 57th Challenge.

I used Rain Bazzill, My Mind's Eye's Stella and Rose Hattie 6x6 paper pad, Stampin' Up's Soft Suede ink, C.C.Design's Trevor Ornament stamp, Rubber Stampede's Wacky Happy Holidays stamp, circle punch, 2 sizes of oval nestabilities, 1 size of scalloped oval nestabilities, teal thread zig zagged with the sewing machine, and finally the Copic Markers I used were E000, E49, BG18, Y26, BG75, Y18.

The papers that I used that look black are actually dark brown.

Kingfisher Thank You Card For Mr. Doucet

My class went to Kingfisher for 2 nights. When we got back, my teacher thought we should make thank you cards for the 1 teacher & 9 parents that came out to volunteer.

I was lucky enough to get the teacher. One of the first things we did was make s'mores. So I made a card with the steps of making a s'more. The tree, cut down the tree, make a fire, roast a marshmallow and then add chocolate and graham crackers.

I used the most stamps I have ever used on a card.........9. The sentiment "Thanks" is from Kraftin Kimmie, the s'more is from Stampin' Up and all the rest of the stamps came from CTMH Beary Best and Campin' Fever stamp sets.

I used scrap paper, Cinnamon Stick Bazzill and Burning Ember Bazzill. For my sign I used Stampin' Up Crumb Cake ink and two brass brads. I also used EK Success' two inch square punch for the backgrounds behind each step to make a s'more.

Copic Markers used: YR16, YR18, E47, G94, E37 and C00.

It was interesting to make a card for someone I really don't now since he has never been my teacher, but I had FUN doing it.
